Louis Speeding Up In St. Louis
Submitted by Chivalrybean on Mon, 07/06/2009 - 22:35.LeadBeat logged onto Left 4 Dead, excitement quivering just outside the subconscious. Just moments ago his Ultra60 MBPS internet service had activated. Used to DSL, the anticipation to play at a faster speed hung in a palpable field around LeadBeat. He quickly found a server and choose Louis, his favorite character. He lived in St. Louis, so to him it was a small private joke. The level loaded.
Within moments he ran about gather a shotgun and a medic pack. The controls responded with a fluidity that LeadBeat was not used too. He grinned. No more getting eaten by zombies due to lag now. The time of reckoning was at hand.

Charter Communications is introducing Ultra60, an internet service with up to 60Mbps connections. The service is designed for fast downloads of game patches, quality connections while gaming, and lag free streaming audio and video. They are currently the fasted internet provider in St. Louis and one of the fastest in the US.
I've been on DSL connections before and thought it the bee's knees since I had been used to dial-up. When I got cable internet it made DSL and dial-up close cousins, both incomparable to the high speeds of cable internet.
Want to watch TV shows on Hulu or tech news at the TWiT Network? Games too laggy got get that clean headshot? Need to download large files, but the download time is agonizingly slow? Make the switch to cable internet.
Take a look at the Ultra60 Information Page to learn more and you can even follow Charter’s Twitter Feed to be up to date on all their latest news.
